Hey Blaine, I love your textures and patterns and how you incorporate vector art. I'v been trying to figure out how you do it. I've come up with some techniques myself but they're not as slick as yours. Hopefully some day you will have show near chicago so I can meet up with you and see your work in person.

in the past i have always hand painted the vectors, either freehand, w/ reference or a projection onto the painting. this time around, i'm doing it more effeciently by screening the graphics onto the boards, i feel this was the light at the end of the tunnel working so hard to acheive a design feel into my organic subject matter. the last week has been some of the funnest process creating work.

Hey Blaine,
Thanks for the reply. Is that kind of like a silk screen process that your using now? I've started using Lazertran paper and really like it.

yeah, its silk screens with hand painted textures & washes as well
